The Butte College Art Department is featuring its 39th Annual Juried Art & Design Student Exhibition from April 24 to May 18. An artists' reception and award presentation will take place on Wednesday, May 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. Northern California-based artist Ama Posey will present the awards, including the "Best of Show" award to Asahara Traore.
The art show displays a collection of selected paintings, drawings, photographs, prints, illustrations, sculptures, ceramics, fiber works and fashion produced by students. This annual exhibit celebrates Butte College student artists and their fantastic work.
The 39th Annual Juried Art & Design Student Exhibition is on display at the Butte College Art Gallery until May 18. The gallery is located on butte college's main campus and is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
